Double Pulse Lasers
Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) can require nanosecond range double pulse output laser sources with precise delay between pulses. Microvec offers double-pulse laser solutions that include ultra-compact DPSS systems and high-energy flashlamp pumped lasers. The PIVotal series lasers for PIV applications consists of two parallel independent high-energy Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers with embedded second (fourth – optionally) harmonic generators.
